I am pretty sure this was only shot on the Sony F65. But maybe I am wrong.

Our research indicates that Red was used for some shots.

  • Brad Wilson

Oblivion’s main unit consisted of 3 x Sony F65′s and 2 x RED EPIC cameras. (I would know, I built the quote for their camera package at Keslow Camera). 3 x EPICs were also used to shoot the eventually stitched together 15k worth of resolution cloud plates (shot in Hawaii) that were projected for the home in the clouds set, as well as Steadicam and body rig shots. F65 for everything else. Visually astounding, its Claudio Miranda, ASC at his best with a lot of natural, or very minimal lighting. The guy’s a genius.
